Ballerina is one of the most versatile garden plants. It can be kept short, or allowed full freedom to grow on a structure, it can cover an arch, a pillar, a shed, etc. Continuous clusters of dainty pink blooms are followed by clusters of small red hips. It's airy, graceful quality is very useful in the garden and deserving of its popularity.
One of the best roses for hedging, ‘Ballerina’ produces clouds of small, single, pink roses with white eyes on a compact arching bush with thick foliage. It can be pruned to shape or allowed to spill over naturally. When the leaves begin to thin in the late fall, the entire bush is lit up with tiny orange-red hips like bright Christmas lights.
